What does "Prompt Match" mean in my Search results?
Prompt Match is a True/False indicator that shows whether a particular search result meets the overall purpose or focus you’ve described in your User Prompt. Even if the text has many overlapping words or concepts (resulting in a high Percent Match), Prompt Match may still be marked False if the result doesn’t cover the main goal you specified.
Example
User Prompt: “Find laws that specifically address data privacy opt-out requirements.”
Percent Match: A document might be 75% similar, referencing various data privacy issues.
Prompt Match: If it doesn’t mention opt-out requirements or consumer choice, it could be False despite a relatively high Percent Match.
This ensures you’re not misled by surface-level similarities and can quickly identify which documents are most relevant to your actual research purpose.
